All right, I finally got the Nintendo Switch 2 in hand, and in this video I’m unboxing it for the first time and giving you my real first impressions as I go. I start with the console itself, and the first thing that hit me was how sleek it looks and how “built” it feels—like, it’s built really nice. The finish surprised me too: it’s not glossy, it’s more of a textured matte that feels good in the hand. I also check out the new stand, and the hinge has legit tension—doesn’t feel like it’s going to get loose over time. Then I get into the Joy-Con 2 experience, and bro… the magnets are strong. They snap in satisfying, and you’re not getting them off unless you hit the physical release button on the back. The analog sticks also feel snappy and don’t do that clicky clank thing, which I really like. I unbox the updated dock (bigger but way more sleek with rounded edges), the USB-C charger, and I show the first boot-up—music, UI vibes, and the initial setup.
