About This Video

When’s the last time you bought a pair of IEMs under $35 and didn’t hate them? In this video I’m testing the EPZ Q1 Pro, and for real—this budget set actually impressed me. I walk through the unboxing, the minimal packaging, and the design details like the 3D printed resin shell, the shiny “Galaxy S” style faceplate, and the smaller nozzle (which I personally prefer with my ear size). The stock cable looks good enough that I didn’t feel the need to immediately swap it, and there are versions with USB-C and even a mic option for gaming. Sound-wise, I break down what you can realistically expect at this price. I like the high-end clarity, and the tuning doesn’t have a bunch of weird issues, which is rare in the ultra-budget range. The stereo image is wide enough to get separation, but I wouldn’t call it 3D. Bass isn’t super deep in the sub-bass, but there’s enough mid-bass presence that it stays listenable for everyday music—and it even survived my “rage music” torture test with nonstop distorted 808s. Add in the snug fit (and surprisingly good passive noise isolation), and I genuinely think the Q1 Pro is one of the best bang-for-your-buck IEMs around $32.
