Have you ever had ceramic keycaps on your keyboard before? In this video I’m trying out a set of Cerakey V2 ceramic keycaps in the “Canal Blue” colorway, and yeah… it kinda blew my mind. Ceramic caps are one of the biggest flexes in the keyboard community because they’re just extremely unique, and the second I opened the box I could tell these were different. The caps are noticeably heavier than ABS or PBT, they’ve got a clean glossy finish, and the whole presentation feels premium—two boxes within a box, plus a little gift with a keycap puller and some free yellow switches. I also go over what you’re actually getting in the set: standard keys, F-row up to F12, multiple modifier sizes, and arrow keys—but it’s not a “fits everything” kit. For example, it’s not meant for ergo boards or split spacebar layouts, and the spacebar included is 6.25u only. Then we get into the fun part: the sound test. To me, this is straight “thock”—kinda loud but still super peaceful, like those rain sleep videos. Price-wise, they’re not dirt cheap, but at around $130 at the time, they’re also cheaper than a GMK set… and those are plastic. You tell me if that’s worth it.
