About This Video

Bro—if this is the “entry-level” IEM performance we’re getting in 2026, we may have a problem… and it’s a great problem to have. In this video I’m reviewing the Simgot EA500LM, a single dynamic IEM with a dual-magnetic circuit and dual-cavity driver that sits around the $89 mark, but straight up over-delivers for the price. I go over what you get in the box (cable, tips, and the swappable nozzles for different tuning), plus the build—because these look way more high-end than they have any right to at under $100. Sound-wise, the word that keeps jumping out of me is detail. It leans closer to a neutral monitor than a basshead set, but the drivers are powerful and the presentation is super spatial and three-dimensional—reverb and depth just open up. Vocals sit centered in the mix without harshness or bloat, and I noticed older tracks (and even my own music) revealing width and depth I didn’t catch before. My nitpicks are small: only 3.5mm out of the box, the tips feel flimsy, and the shiny shells are fingerprint magnets—but the part that matters most is the sound, and yeah… I’m impressed.
