After asking Gemini for advice, I realized I need to get my characters from level 40 to at least 50 to have a smooth finish, and honestly, it’s starting to feel like work! I love the story and the characters, but the tedious leveling is damping my excitement. It makes me appreciate Chrono Trigger even more—which remains one of the best games I’ve ever played. Since I’m almost done with FFVI, I need your help deciding what to play next on my retro handhelds. I’ve tried Aladdin and found it a bit tough, and I have mixed feelings about Super Mario World on the SNES (the physics feel like I’m walking on ice!). I much prefer the GameBoy and GBA versions of Mario. I’m looking for something that is "casual gamer appropriate" but still offers a deep experience like Final Fantasy VII or IX. Should I dive into Earthbound, or is there a hidden gem on the Genesis or PlayStation 1 that I’m missing? I’m looking for recommendations across SNES, GBA, and PS1.
