Having a handheld device has been the only way I’ve been able to stick with a massive RPG like this. The ability to jump into a 10-minute session between responsibilities—or after a brutal training session in the gym—without the "burden" of booting up a console, has completely changed my gaming life. However, since I'm looking toward the future, I need your help! I’m looking for new open-world recommendations for my next trip, but I have two strict requirements: it must be playable offline (no "always-online" DRM) and I'm not a huge fan of Western/Gunplay settings (like Red Dead Redemption 2).
