Contact me via email ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ I just finished watching War Machine on Netflix, starring Alan Ritchson (Reacher) and Dennis Quaid, and I wanted to give you my honest take. If you’re looking for a deep, unique cinematic masterpiece, this isn't it—but if you want high-octane action entertainment, this movie delivers. It feels like a unique blend of a gritty military drama, the sci-fi intensity of Predator, and the tactical vibe of the Metal Gear Solid video games. What impressed me most wasn't necessarily the plot, but the pacing. In an era where many of us struggle with short attention spans and the urge to "second screen" with our phones or handhelds, War Machine actually kept me captivated. The CGI and visual effects were surprisingly solid, avoiding the "uncanny valley" issues I’ve seen in recent high-budget series like Star Wars. It also manages to stay grounded with some very graphic, Saving Private Ryan-style realism that highlights the horrors of war rather than just glorifying it. While it does dip into some Fast & Furious levels of "unbelievability" toward the end, the unique way the protagonist handles the final showdown was something I haven't seen before. If you're already a Netflix subscriber, I’d give this a solid 4 out of 5 for pure entertainment value. It’s the perfect "popcorn movie" to help you put the phone down and just enjoy the ride.
