It wasn't until a recent conversation with my wife that I realized I had accidentally achieved a major personal victory: I learned to be alone and be okay with myself. I now find comfort and success in my own company, even as I see some old friends feeling unhappy and frustrated in their crowded 9-to-5 lives.
