Contact me via email ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ It's one of those days where the to-do list is overwhelming, the tasks are piling up (court date, new freelance project, broken garage door!), and the mental load is just too high. When I feel this annoyed and overwhelmed, I have two non-negotiable strategies for dealing with the stress and protecting my mental health: Verbalization (Video Journaling): This daily vlog is a form of journaling where I get thoughts out of my head and onto a physical media. I explain why talking into a camera—a medium that lets you finish your entire train of thought without unsolicited advice—is a massive stress reliever that provides instant mental clarity. Prioritizing Self-Care (Muay Thai): It's tempting to tackle the to-do list, but I argue that carving out "precious" time for things that make you happy (like training) is crucial. Those two hours are more important than doing my taxes because I know I'll be refreshed and much more efficient afterwards. The key is to always find time for those things that make you happy—whether it's gaming, reading, or training—so you can approach your work schedule refreshed and avoid wearing yourself down. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 0:00 - Intro: Feeling overwhelmed and in a bad mood 0:39 - The overwhelming to-do list (Client, project, broken door) 2:04 - The taxing feeling of scheduling chaos 2:33 - The solution: Video journaling as a form of relief 3:05 - The benefit of verbalizing thoughts to a physical media 3:56 - The camera lets you finish your train of thought (No unsolicited advice) 4:33 - How talking leads to mental clarity and a better to-do list 4:59 - The goal: Relieving the mental load 5:36 - Monetization is the cherry on top, mental health is the priority 6:06 - The second solution: Finding time for happiness (Muay Thai) 7:11 - Why self-care hours lead to more efficient work 7:38 - Final advice: Carve out time for things you enjoy 8:04 - Outro and subscription reminder ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
