While I usually love the intimacy of a single narrator, this production feels more like a cinematic audio drama. The sound effects and mixing (mostly) make the story come to life in a way that feels incredibly fresh, even for someone who knows the plot inside and out. I do have a few nitpicks—specifically some inconsistent audio quality for Dumbledore in the first two books—but by the Prisoner of Azkaban, the quality is top-tier.
