Hi Runners, Here is a 15 minute mobility flow that I like to do in the mornings (especially after a hard evenining run the night before) in order to stretch out those legs and hips in my body. Mobility for runners is crucial, as it allows you to access your whole range of motion, decrease the risk of injuries and increase the efficiency of your stride. One of the issues runners often face is that they sit a lot during the day and run during the mornings and/or nights. This combination can be quite destructive (it has certainly been for me) because we increase stiffness in our joints by doing this. The only good remedy is to actually do more mobility training, and yoga happens to be the most accessible. I highly recommend doing some of these poses and flows at least twice a week, depending on your running volume, and I can assure you that your body will thank you later! Plus, I get amazing mental benefits from practicing yoga. I feel more connected, more present and more relaxed after each session. I hope you like these little Yoga flows I publish, if you do please hit that like button and leave a comment. All the best, stay wildin, Peace!
