Girliiies, I took you with me to London for race day—running a 22km half marathon—and I filmed a full “what I eat in a day” so you can see exactly how I fuel before, during, and after. I start at 6:30am with stretching (because I’m not about to pretend I’m the best stretcher normally), then I keep breakfast super simple: a lighter oatmeal situation for quick carbs. And yes, I still grabbed a quick espresso because that just gets me fired up. In the vlog I also talk through the mindset piece, because honestly, that’s what carries you when it starts getting hard (for me it hits around 10–12km, and the last 3km are brutal). I was nervous because I’d been walking 20,000 steps a day in London and my legs were tired, but I focused on having a good time and not obsessing over my pace. I ended up hitting my goal—under 2 hours—and I’m so proud. Then we do the real recovery: immediate glucose (double scoop ice cream), a proper savory lunch (bagel with cheese/onion/egg), a cookie moment because I’m a cookie connoisseur, and later something actually nourishing again (Mexican tofu bowl + sparkling water) after all the sugar and carbs.
