Good morning and happy new year—this video is a quick, impromptu update from me a few days into 2026. I’m out at a quiet walking trail along Temecula Creek (after a bunch of rain), and even though the camera angle is a little awkward, it felt like the perfect spot to lay out what I’m doing with the channel this year. At the end of last year I shared that we sold our Jeep Wrangler and didn’t have an off-road rig anymore, and I said we’d be on hiatus until we replaced it. Well, that’s only partially true. The Wrangler is gone and we still haven’t replaced it—but I’m not taking a hiatus. Instead, I’m going to bring you along as we search for our next off-road vehicle over the next several weeks… maybe months. We don’t have a specific rig picked out, we’re staying open-minded, and our tight budget is going to steer what’s realistic. In the meantime, we still have our Tusca Hitchhiker camper, we’ll share camping content, and we’re planning to hit events like Overland Expo SoCal in March. I’m committing to weekly uploads in 2026, and we’re even scheduled to go look at a locally listed vehicle in the next few days—so that should be the next video.
