About This Video

What up guys—on this one I’m showing you a simple Google Drive hack that makes your Drive feel like it’s locally connected to your PC, like an extra drive. Once you set it up, every single content of your Google Drive shows up in File Explorer and it syncs automatically. That means you can open files, move stuff around, and even drag-and-drop new files into that Drive folder, and it will upload/sync straight to your Google Drive. I walk you through it quick and easy: open your browser, search “Google for desktop,” then go to “Use Google Drive for desktop” and download the Windows installer (or Mac if that’s what you use). After you install and launch it, you’ll see Google Drive added on your PC like another drive, and your files will be accessible without always opening the browser. For me, this is also like a secondary backup—if something happens to my computer, Google Drive already has the files synced. Even if you’re on the free 15GB plan (I’m on 100GB), having Drive right there in your PC is very cool and super convenient.
