I walk you through the basic install on a desk: tightening the table clamp, hooking the low-profile arm in place, and mounting the mic holder. The arm is metal, feels sturdy, and it comes with cable straps so you can keep things cleaner. The main reason I chose the “low profile” style is simple—it doesn’t stick out in front of your face like a big arm going straight into your mouth. It routes up and out of the way, so when I’m unboxing, recording a tutorial, or doing voiceovers at my desk, I can move it around fast and keep my setup looking clean.
