In this video, I’m showing you two CCTV mount brackets that made my DIY camera installation way easier and honestly look more professionally done. One problem I always had when installing my own CCTV is the wiring—yeah, it’s waterproof, but it doesn’t look nice when the cables are just hanging there. Normally you’d need another box (I forgot the exact name), but these mountings give you space to hide the wires so the setup looks clean. I bought two types because I have two real scenarios at home: ceiling/wall mounting and pole mounting. The first bracket has a nice cavity where you can tuck the connectors and cables, then you attach the camera and it just looks neat. The second one is for poles, which is one of the hardest DIY mounts if you don’t have the right hardware. This one comes with a metal strap and plate that tightens around the pole, and I was able to attach it in about 5 to 8 minutes (not counting the time climbing up). Even with rain starting, it held tight and the CCTV looked like it was installed by a pro—yeah, I’m a pro by the way.
