About This Video

In this video, I share my honest 5-month experience using the EcoFlow River 3 Max Plus during real power problems—brownouts, sudden outages, and even a typhoon week. I used to rely on my old Jackery (200W) for small stuff like keeping my Wi‑Fi router alive, but when I switched to Starlink, that setup just couldn’t keep up. I needed a bigger battery power station, and after doing my usual research, I went with EcoFlow because the value-for-money on wattage made more sense to me. My main use case is not camping—this is for my home internet and network rack. I show how I run my Starlink and Wi‑Fi through it, how the UPS-style auto switching works (so my internet stays up even when power cuts), and what the power draw looks like in real time. I also show the ports (USB-A, 100W USB-C, extra USB-C under the unit, AC output) and why I like the detachable battery design so it’s easier to carry when needed. Since I didn’t buy the solar panel (budget is budget), I also demonstrate how I charge it in the car when there’s no power—enough to get me back online because where I live, cellular signal is basically not an option. If your priority is “internet must not die,” this setup is exactly what I’m doing at home.
