About This Video

In this video, I did a quick experiment: I turned two old tablets into wireless extended monitors for my Windows laptop—no cables needed. I’m using spacedesk, and as long as your laptop and tablets are on the same Wi‑Fi network, the tablets can act like real extra screens. I showed you the live test where I drag a browser window from my laptop to one tablet, then over to the second tablet, and it works perfectly. I walk you through the full setup step-by-step. On the laptop, I download and install the spacedesk Windows 10/11 driver, then open the spacedesk driver console to confirm my Wi‑Fi adapter is active. On each tablet, I install the spacedesk app, let it detect my laptop automatically, and connect. By default it starts in “Duplicate,” so I also show you how to switch to “Extend” in Windows Display Settings and rearrange the screen order so dragging left-to-right feels natural. My main takeaway: this is a super budget-friendly triple-screen setup using devices you already carry. Performance depends a lot on your network—my 5G Wi‑Fi is fast so I don’t feel lag, but on 2.4GHz you might see sluggish movement. If you get stuck, the key is making sure everything is on the same Wi‑Fi and spacedesk is running on the PC.
