This Tokyo travel vlog is my last little chapter of my Asia trip—four days in one of my favorite cities. I’m staying at my best friend Franny’s apartment (she’s literally the sweetest for letting me crash for a few days), and I’m doing a mix of solo exploring and catching up with friends. On my first full day, I take the bus over to Shibuya (it was a straight shot, which I loved, but it was so packed) and I walk around early so I can pop into shops and have a little moment to myself—plus I pass Tower Records and get instantly tempted to go in. Later, I meet up with Sakura to check out the new Lola salon and we end the day at a matcha cafe—my first time trying it, and the drinks are so good. I’m very picky about sweetness, so I loved that everything was lightly sweet and not too sweet. On my last full day, I head out for a shopping day in Ginza and finally try one of the matcha spots I missed on my previous Tokyo trip. There’s also a lot of snack tasting (because travel = not enough veggies), and I share the kind of convenience-store finds I genuinely reach for when I need something refreshing, filling, and easy after a long day of walking. And of course… as fun as Tokyo is, I’m also very happy to be back home in NYC and get back into my home vlogs.
