This week’s NYC vlog was a true “wedding era” kind of week for me: I went to my first New York Bridal Fashion Week shows and events, and it honestly felt like stepping into a whole other universe. I got to meet designers in person (like Jenny Yoo) and see collections from major names like Galia Lahav, plus check out presentations and appointments that were way more intimate and detail-focused than the super crowded previews. I’m going as a content creator (not press), so it was really fun seeing how much energy is in the bridal space—photographers, planners, wedding sites, everyone was there. In between bridal events, I did my very-needed hair refresh with Lena (my brassy/orange situation was not it), and she gave me a more neutral brown that feels so much more “me” for fall. I also squeezed in a solo date around the city—sample sales, a quick browse at stores like Reformation/GAP (Sandy Liang drop was sold out, obviously), and Barnes & Noble—because Friday nights are usually my stay-in-and-reset time. I also caught you up on what I’m reading (The Secret History is my current cozy October/dark academia pick), grabbed matcha at 12 Matcha, and ended with a Jimmy Choo sample sale win: bridal shoes at a price I could finally stomach.
