Happy first day of fall (and happy new year, even though this vlog starts on September 22nd). In this video I’m basically leaning all the way into my favorite season in New York—temperate weather, changing leaves, and that “fresh start” feeling once September hits. I’m running errands, getting a cute fall drink, and doing a little bookstore/stationery browsing because I’m in a very deep reading era again. I also share a quick outfit moment (including my Ralph Lauren Polo ID bag in the richest saddle color—very much giving horse girl), plus some at-home reset time while Calvin’s away. On the food side, I’m testing an easy weeknight dinner: spaghetti squash for the first time. I roast it, then keep the sauce simple with Rao’s marinara and add ground beef, peas, spices, and cheese—honestly super easy, just needs better timing because the squash takes a while. There’s also a cozy “girl dinner” snack moment with a yogurt bowl and peaches (stone fruit season, I will miss you). We also hang in the West Village on a Saturday, talk matcha/ice cream levels, and I share my current reads (ACOTAR + rereading The Great Gatsby). And to top it off: a journal TikTok-inspired unboxing of my Louise Carmen traveler-style notebook setup, plus an apartment organization update with a new bookshelf for my growing TBR.
