It’s time to share the top 5 whiskies I tasted in 2023, as well as a couple of the worst whiskies I tried. These are all commercial releases that were available to the public at some point, though a few are now sold out. Through whisky tasting clubs, industry nights, whisky expos, distillery tours and my own purchases, I tasted hundreds of whiskies in the past year. I kept meticulous tasting notes throughout the year so I could narrow down on those I rated the highest, and the lowest.
