In this full review, I dive into the Hellyers Road Peated 21 Year Old Single Cask, which was recently crowned Best Single Malt Whisky in Australia at the 2025 World Whiskies Awards. Hellyers Road is one of Tasmania’s leading distilleries, and this 21-year-old single cask release brings light peat, earthy nutty notes, ashy wood smoke, and a beautifully integrated sweetness.
