In this one, I’m sat down with the lads having a proper chat through the latest reveals… and for once the internet didn’t seem to combust with hatred. We got properly stuck into the Death Korps of Krieg stuff (which, let’s be honest, has been an open secret since the roadmap), and I’m genuinely impressed. The range looks really strong: the command squad is great, the medic is a standout, and I’m a sucker for anything that feels like a “model that’s also a diorama” — so yeah, the big cannon with the crew milling about absolutely does it for me. My only real nitpick is the studio paint being a bit clean and a bit baby-blue on the masks; I’d personally drag it grimmer, browner, and more trenchy. We also get into the Eldar refresh and why it feels like they’re finally ticking off the last “old world” corners of that range, plus a bit of hobby side-chat (including my own little painting moment where I had to stop mid-face because the sculpt was clearly a different ethnicity than the skin tone I’d started laying in). Then we pivot into the future of 3D printing, because Ross went to his first 3D printer convention — and it’s not just hobby resin printers. I’m talking machines that are literally the size of a room, with applications way beyond miniatures, and it genuinely nudged my brain closer to “replicators from Star Trek… one day.”
