Space marine 2 is here, it's very exciting. We're also intrigued with what's going to happen to to our kill teams when they get taken out of competitive rotation. Will they stop be produced? Will they get taken out of 40k? who knows?! About This Video

In this one I’m chatting through two big bits of Warhammer-adjacent hype: Space Marine 2 finally landing, and the general “what on earth is Games Workshop doing?” vibe around reveals, roadmaps, and what happens when things drop out of rotation (Kill Team being the obvious worry). I talk about how weird it feels that we get these ultra-vague presentations—loads of “here’s where we’ve been” and not much “here’s what you can actually buy and when”—and why that’s a massive change from the old Games Day era where they’d just show you what was coming. Space Marine 2, though? That’s a proper moment. I’m playing on PS5 and I’m genuinely impressed by the feel of it—especially the adaptive triggers making heavier weapons feel heavier. I also get why some non-Warhammer reviewers might land on “it’s fine”: the Space Marine dialogue is dry as anything, and if you don’t know the setting, it can feel a bit stiff. But as a Warhammer game that’s also just a solid game, it’s absolutely up there. I also touch on the wider licensing wave: The Tithes being really well received, the Amazon/Henry Cavill situation still ticking along, and the animated shorts coming that include Titus—because honestly, it feels like the hobby’s getting fewer model surprises, but bigger media moments.
