In this Plan With Me, I’m setting up my social media planner for August 2–8, 2021, and I’m doing it inside my personal rings. If you saw my last social media plan with me, you already know this system is a little messy—but I honestly like it. I’m using the Cloth & Paper horizontal week-on-two-page inserts (the ones from the subscription box), and I’m still toying with the idea of buying a full year because I really, really love the layout. For stickers, I grabbed a super cute Wonton in a Million kit I found at Michaels on clearance (yes, it’s cherry blossom themed and yes, it’s not spring… but we’re going with it). Space is tight in these inserts, so I keep things simple: date covers trimmed to fit, YouTube icons for upload days, and Cloth & Paper dots to track Instagram posting goals. I’m aiming for two IG posts a day (which might be me biting off more than I can chew), but at minimum I want one per day and consistency. I also walk through how I’m using the “priorities/memo/next week” areas as extra sections for Etsy, YouTube, and Instagram, and I share a peek at my content planning pages—like my YouTube video ideas sheet and posting checklist—while I figure out what actually works for me long-term.
