In this Plan With Me, I’m setting up my personal rings for the week of September 6–12, 2021 using The Coffee Monsterz Co. “City Life” kit (the four-page kit) and it is seriously so cute. I walk you through how I place my “today” headers across the top and then decided to move my to-dos back down to the bottom so I could actually use those kit stickers and not waste them. I also share a little bit of how I work around kit limitations—this kit doesn’t come with date covers, and I personally don’t typically use the thick bottom washi, so I leave the top bare and build the spread in a way that still feels functional for me. I set up my sidebar with a “this week” section, a top three list, habit trackers, and my currently reading/currently watching trackers (including a little star rating sticker so I can rate my book). Then I fill in my week with real life: Labor Day (day off), work days, a 1pm meeting, Etsy time, a virtual bourbon tasting, garbage day, payday, planner prep, therapy, and my weekend YouTube workflow (filming and editing). Along the way I’m layering stickers, cutting full boxes when I need more room (I hate cutting them, but you do what you gotta do), and adding a cute cloud washi strip at the bottom to frame my dinner stickers. The end result is decorative, functional, and fun—exactly how I like to plan.
