In this Plan With Me, I’m setting up my September 2021 monthly spread in my personal rings using a gorgeous monthly kit from Planner Kate that’s made to fit my Sew Much Crafting inserts. If you watched my last monthly plan with me, you’ll remember I accidentally tried to use this kit for August—so I was very happy to finally put it to use where it actually belongs. I do white out the printed dates first so nothing shows through the stickers, and then I lay down the monthly base and sidebar pieces to get everything looking clean and finished. From there, I go in with my tiny Mandy Lynn Plans icons to add the functional stuff first—bills, birthdays, paydays, meetings every Tuesday, and Afterpay dates. I also sprinkle in a few “life” reminders like shows I want to watch (yes, I love a good documentary) and a virtual bourbon tasting I was really excited about. Once the important things are in, I add a little personality with snarky quote stickers (because… same) and a few decorative touches without wasting too much real estate. At the end, I pop it back in my planner and show how I use my custom “currently” cover sheet to keep goals and what I’m watching/reading right in my face for the month.
