What planner are you using for this August 23-29 plan with me?

I’m planning in my personal rings for the week of August 23rd through the 29th. My catch-all setup for 2021 is a Moterm Litchi Gray Personal Rings with Sew Much Crafting inserts. I love having the overview of my whole week in this format.

What sticker kit did you use in your personal rings spread?

Accepted Answer

I used a weekly kit from Moore Avenue—this one is labeled 020A. It’s a mini kit that folds, which I actually really like. It’s way brighter than what I normally use, but it was so stinking adorable I had to use it.

Question 3

How do you set up the sidebar in personal rings?

Accepted Answer

I start with a main sidebar label (this week I used the “write it down” sticker), then I add currently reading/currently watching. I also use a checklist sticker and cover the days with colorful dots so it can just be a plain checklist. Then I finish it with the two habit trackers from the kit.

What checklist stickers do you use in personal rings?

I use Planner Kate checklist stickers—the ones sized for horizontal EC planners. They fit the spaces between the lines in my Sew Much Crafting inserts really, really well. I use them in pretty much every spread because they’re functional without taking up a ton of room.

Question 5

Why do you white out the dates in your inserts?

Accepted Answer

I white out the existing printed dates so I can use whatever date covers I want for the week. Sometimes a little of the black lettering still peeks through, but it doesn’t bother me. I’d rather have the flexibility and the cute date covers.

Question 6

How do you plan a week when you don’t have many appointments?

Accepted Answer

If it’s a sparse week, I still put in the basics that keep the house and my life moving—like garbage night, bills, groceries, and laundry. I’ll also add a couple decorative boxes to break up the space so it doesn’t feel empty. And I always add my routines and checklists because that’s what keeps me on track.

What are the wacky holidays you used for this week?

Accepted Answer

This week I used Kiss and Makeup Day (the 25th), National Dog Day (the 26th), Just Because Day (the 27th), Stuffed Green Bell Peppers Day (the 28th), and More Herbs Less Salt Day (the 29th). I like adding them at the bottom so they don’t get in the way of planning. Also, for the record, I still hated stuffed bell peppers even in adulthood.
