In this Plan With Me, I’m setting up my Mini Happy Planner (horizontal layout) for the week of August 30th through September 5th, 2021. I went in with a sticker book that I’ve honestly barely used—Sassy Plans—because I can never seem to make the stickers work. The funny part is the vibe is kind of “tan” and I still decided, you know what… I just don’t even care. I pulled in support stickers from my Big Pastels book (that I hardly ever touch) plus the Colorful Boxes book so I could build my usual layered box look and still keep it functional. I start by committing to one of my favorite quotes—“Maybe if we all sit extremely still Monday won’t be able to see us”—and then I build the spread out with a few character/quote stickers (including the “as f” one that I ended up loving). I also place a meeting on Tuesday, add a to-do area, and create a notes/“this week” section to keep the week practical. Big takeaway: sometimes you just have to give a sticker book an honest chance—this one surprised me in the best way. Also, word to the wise: Zig dot markers bleed through Happy Planner paper… so we won’t be doing that again.
