The Galaxy Buds 4 Pro are a massive "common sense" redesign that fixes almost everything I disliked about the Buds 3 Pro. But is it enough to justify an upgrade? In this review, we’re putting the Buds 4 Pro through a real-world stress test, from the bathroom fan ANC test to a direct mic comparison with the Buds 3 Pro. We’re talking about the new 11mm SuperWide woofer, the 5.5mm planar tweeter, and why that "pen clip" design is actually a win for ergonomics. 0:00 - Is the Identity Crisis is Over? 0:38 - The Jewellery Box Case is back (The Good & Bad) 1:31 - The Pen Clip redesign + better ergonomics 2:25 - The Ear tip Warning (Be Careful!) 2:38 - Comfort 3:00 - Sound Quality 4:02 - ANC 4:02 - Ambient: Is the hiss gone? 4:25 - Voice Controls demo 5:30 - The Samsung Ecosystem trap 6:26 - MIC TEST: Buds4 Pro vs 3 Pro vs Phone 7:23 - Tracking: Still no UWB, Bluetooth only 7:59 - Final Thoughts: Am I upgrading? 💬 COME SAY HI: ‣ BLOG - http://www.bythaohuynh.com ‣ INSTAGRAM: http://www.instagram.com/thaohuynhtv ‣ TIKTOK: http://www.tiktok.com/@thaohuynhy 💼 FOR BUSINESS INQUIRIES ‣ thaophuynhbusiness@gmail.com OR fill out contact form on my blog - https://www.bythaohuynh.com DISCLOSURE ‣ Galaxy Buds4 Pro review unit provided by Samsung for review purposes. About This Video

Last year, it honestly felt like Samsung was having an identity crisis with the Galaxy Buds3 Pro. In this video, I review the Galaxy Buds4 Pro after a couple weeks of real-world use, and the headline is: this is a “common sense” redesign that fixes most of my day-to-day frustrations. I break down the return to the jewelry-box style case (with the transparent lid), why the buds lying flat makes them so much easier to grab and dock, and the new “pen clip” stem that’s way more ergonomic. I also call out the one thing you need to be careful with: the ear tips are still extremely hard to remove, and it’s easy to rip the silicone if you’re not gentle. I go deep on sound, ANC, transparency, and features. The new driver setup (11mm woofer + 5.5mm planar tweeter) smooths out the sharp, peaky treble I noticed on the Buds3 Pro, and the bass feels deeper and tighter without getting overwhelming. ANC is a modest step up (around 10–15% for me), and ambient mode still has a subtle digital hiss. I also demo voice controls and explain the Samsung ecosystem “trap”: you’ll get the best codec, seamless switching, and potentially better call quality on Galaxy devices—while true multi-point and UWB tracking still aren’t here. In the end, I’m upgrading from the Buds3 Pro, but I’m also clear about what still needs work.
