In this video I walk you through a full manual install of the latest Kali Linux on basically any Android phone in 2025 using Termux and the NetHunter setup. I start from scratch: grabbing the Termux APK and the NetHunter Store from my Etechbox guide, then downloading the Kali rootfs image directly from the official Kali NetHunter rootfs directory. I also show you a small but important tip—switch NetHunter Store to landscape mode so you can actually hit the download button without fighting the UI. After that, I jump into Termux to set up storage permissions, switch repositories, update/upgrade packages, and install wget. Then I move the rootfs file from Downloads into the Termux directory, pull the NetHunter install script, make it executable, and run it. The script detects the rootfs you downloaded manually, extracts it (this can take 20 minutes or more depending on your phone), and once it’s done I set the KeX password and start the KeX server. Finally, I install the NetHunter KeX client from NetHunter Store, connect on port 5901 with my password, and you’ll see Kali running with access to tools, shared storage, scaling/resolution options, and an easy stop command when you’re done.
