About This Video

In this video I show you how to install and run Android apps and games on your Mac using BlueStacks. BlueStacks is basically an Android emulator that lets you run Play Store apps on macOS, and I cover both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs: if you’re on M1/M2/M3 you’ll grab BlueStacks Air, and if you’re on Intel you’ll download the regular BlueStacks build. I walk you through the exact flow—download, install, approve with your password, launch it from Launchpad, then jump into the Play Store and sign in with your Google account. After that, I go into the settings that actually matter for performance. I show you how to set CPU cores and RAM (and I personally don’t recommend giving it more than about 40% of your system resources), then switch performance mode to High Performance. I also cover display options like resolution and pixel density, plus graphics settings where you can choose Vulkan or OpenGL (I recommend using those). Once you save changes and restart BlueStacks, you’re ready to download and run pretty much any Android app right on your Mac.
