In this video I’m installing our Riser Decal Kit on a 5th gen RAV4 (2019–2025). This kit is one of our design kits that runs the full length of the rocker area, and it’s honestly one of my favorites—especially in this blue-to-purple gradient because it fits the “lady-owned Toyota” color scheme we’re carrying through the whole build. The goal is simple: clean it, align it, install it. The stripes are designed to sit right in those lower body lines so it looks like it belongs there from the factory. I walk you through exactly what I use and how I set it up: squeegee, knife, heat gun, alcohol, rag, tape, and a tape measure. I trim the decals first (leave about an eighth inch or less of excess) so alignment is easier, and I show how I start at the front, tape-hinge it, tack the middle first (because of the swooped section), then squeegee up and out at a slight angle. We also hit the important stuff people skip—tucking the edges and post-heating to around 185°F. If you don’t post-heat, that’s the difference between a decal lasting a week or holding up for years.
