Amazon Affiliate Link: https://amzn.to/4bCntTi Price as reviewed: $20 POWVINE Bike Horn - Wireless Remote Control, 120dB Loud Electric Bicycle Horn, Bike Bell for 6 Sound Modes,IPX5 Waterproof,Type-C Charging, Bicycle Horns for Adults Bikes, Ebikes, Scooters From the POWVINE Store This inexpensive bike horn is charged via USB-C (less than 0.5 amps draw, so any USB port can power it up) and has a quick removal mount that remains zip tied to your bike frame. It is controlled wirelessly by a small puck (which has a built in CR2032 coin cell battery) which attaches to your handle bars using rubber bands. The horn is LOUD, and very shrill. It sounds very "alarm" and not so much "horn" or "bell". It has 3 loudness settings, and only the "low" one is polite. Anything else and you are yelling at people far away to get out of your way (perfect for fast bikers on a shared bike path, or somebody who needs to be heard by drivers inside cars). You can pick the loudness and sound (out of 6 possible ones) with a top / bottom button on the puck remote, and sound the horn with the large center button. It's rated IPX5, so protected against minor splashes, but you had better bring it inside if you leave your bike out in the rain. Its easy to see how to unscrew/remove the horn unit, so it's not an anti-theft bracket, but it is relatively easy to remove/replace. So I guess you could bring it inside very night, but you'd have to disconnect both the horn and the button from the handlebar. At this low price point, it may not be worth the effort. I haven't evaluated the "75 day" battery life claim, but it sounds like it might be possible.
