The listing says bras, the sticker on the package says aluminum alloy. A strong magnet is very weakly attracted to them, so I don't think it's iron/steel that will rust, but it may have some stainless? In any case, given all of the conflicting types of metal listed, I can't tell you want type of metal it is, but it's hard and silverish in color. They have a small red gasket inside that is designed to keep air inside your tire even if a valve stem starts to leak. (Probably only works if tightened down a lot, I didn't deliberately make a valve stem leak to test this out.) Overall they definitely look better than the generic plastic caps, and are much better than having nothing protecting your valves from road dust, etc... The price is right for what you get. With a 25 pack you can do 5 cars (with spare tires) or 6 cars (4 tires each, with one spare left over)
