It has a very faint pincushion distortion, and point light sources at night might have a little comma (that you have to zoom in to see), but overall I was quite impressed with the lens quality in this affordable 23mm APS-C lens. [It does also work on full frame Sony E-mount cameras if they are working in APS-C mode, but it is NOT a full frame native lens.] The auto-focus works smoothly and well, it the lens is good for closeup work (almost macro, with a 0.3 m (1ft) minimum focus distance) and street photography. The sun hood is removable and stows reversed (although this does cover part of the manual focus ring), and the lens supports 52mm diameter filters. The provided rear dust cover includes a USB-C port and data pins to enable any future firmware updates (although currently the lens does not have any updates available on the manufacturers website). Mechanically it mated and locked with my Sony A6300 perfectly and functioned perfectly. With the exception of astro-photography, the lens produced very good results, and I'm very satisfied with it given the affordable price point.
