They also each come with a piece of round metal with a double sided sticky pad, so you can stick the metal disks to the wall and then magnetically attach the light. Each puck has a motion sensor that sticks out of the side, and it throws light out of the top. There is a small switch integrated into the plastic case that controls it. One press to turn it to always on mode, two presses to put it in "turn on when motion is detected if it is dark" mode, and three presses to put it into "turn on when motion is detected, regardless of the amount of light" mode. If you double click the button when the light is on, you can change the color temperature between Warm, Medium, and Cool white. If you press and hold, you can gradually dim or brighten the light to how you want it, and it will retain this "dimmer" setting until you change it. They came almost fully charged from the factory, and after fully charging them they run at full brightness for 6 hours, and put out a dimmer and dimmer light for the next 2-3 hours. They take 2 watt hours to recharge each puck (9wh total for 3) and include a USB-A to 3x USB-c charging cable that draws 2amps at 5 volts or less when charging. [They also successfully negotiate USB-C Power Delivery, so you can use any cell phone charger with a USB-C cable to charge the pucks independently.] The front plastic friction fits and can pop off, giving easy access to the circuit board, which also pulls out easily, allowing you to change the LiIon pouch cell (25x20x8 sized) if you needed to. The motion sensors work well in the 2-10' range and the lights are plenty bright enough for nightlight, path lighting, or illuminating a dim closet or cabinet. I used three in a coat closet and that was plenty of light.
