My box did not include a manual nor a carry / storage bag. The drill had plenty of power for drilling and driving screws deep into pressure treated lumber, the chuck is easy to use. The clutch setting ring is over the trigger, so you can't manipulate it in full circles, but instead have to manipulate it working around the trigger. This isn't difficult but makes it take just a little more time to adjust the clutch. On the plus side, this drill is much shorter and compact that my previous drill, so it will certainly fit into more places. The base of the drill has an upward facing flashlight to illuminate your work with three modes: 1) Off, 2)Turns on when the drill is used and then turns of automatically 10-20 seconds later 3) Always on full brightness. Each of the batteries has a 4-dot "push to display) battery charge level meter built into them. The plug in charger has a power facto of 1.0, and draws less than 1 watt when plugged in without charging a battery.
