Review: LUOPUTUO 5/16th black polyester solid braid rope $49

If you pinch it just slightly it fits through a 1/4" gap in my calipers (so it might be 7mm instead of 8mm depending on if you are stretching it). It didn't appear to stretch very much, so the "low stretch" claim appears reasonable, although I didn't test actually test that against any particular standard. Definitely polyester, it cuts and the ends melts solid easily. I didn't measure the exact length, but the weight and amount left on the spool when I was done makes me believe the 250' claim. It worked well for my application (placing a pulley up on a tree branch) and met all of my expectations. I'll have to check on it in a year to fully test the UV resistant claim, but I would expect all of the black pigment to block a lot of UV light.
