I did have to install pulse-audio and configure it to export audio out the HDMI cable to get sound exported by the Raspberry pi, but as soon as I configured it correctly the speakers in the back of the Eyoyo monitor worked well. The screen also worked when connected to my Ubuntu Linux laptop as a (small) external display. It presents as a 1280x720p display over HDMI, but downconverts this to the native 4:3 1024x768 resolution. It comes with a universal 100-240 volt AC power adapter that provides the 12 volts @ 1 amp needed to drive the display. Although I only used the HDMI input, it also has VGA, RCA, and BNC inputs. It has VESA 75mm mounting holes on the back, as well as a key slot that you could use to hang it up using a nail head and also attaches to the included mount/stand. The mount/stand has thin pedals of metal which could be bent to conform to a curved surface such as a dashboard, and comes with double sided sticky foam for mounting (or you could screw it down). Using the front panel buttons to work the menu system is not intuitive, but with a little trial and error I was able to adjust all of the settings I wanted to (mostly tune the brightness & contrast, and set the volume to maximum). You can reverse and flip the image on the screen via the menu to allow you to mount the screen upside down or sideways. The TFT display is reasonable for the low price point, but it won't win any awards for brightness, contrast, or color saturation. It's fine for watching security feeds, and acceptable for configuring a Raspberry Pi computer, but I wouldn't use it as my daily monitor. It was plenty bright inside, but you won't be able to use it outside in full sun. Even in a vehicle you may run into issues when the sunlight overwhelms the display depending upon angle. Overall the only thing about this product that impresses me is the low price. The display screen, plastic case & mount are all "good enough", but it's the price point that makes it a good deal as long as you are able to accept "good enough" performance.
