While it records movies and photos to the included 64GB micro SD card, the big draw is the built in thermal paper printer. By default out of the box it will print a copy of any photo you take with it (by pressing the printer button you can turn this feature off). The black and white output is reasonably good given that it's printed on thermal paper (receipt paper). You can choose gray scale or dithered dots, and adjust the darkness of the printout on the paper. As a digital camera, it is of middling optical quality. When downloading the images/videos from the SD card and viewing them on a large screen it's obvious that the camera has a small fixed focus lens. You could send images to a grandparent over the internet, but they are not of suitable quality for making high quality photo prints. The built in MP3 player is simple but works. Audio is a bit tinny as it has a small speaker, but would be perfectly appropriate for bedtime audio books or children's songs. The built in games (snake, block breakout, a Tetris close, a box pusher puzzle) are also simple but could be entertaining if no other options exist. (You can turn the volume down to zero in the settings). The package includes a USB-A to USB-C charging cable, as well as a USB-A micro-sd card reader. You can import the images from the camera to a computer either by removing the microsd card and using the provided reader, or by directly connecting the camera to the computer via the USB cable (which also charges the camera). By default it mounts as a drive. If you remove the micro-sd card, the camera will instead mount as a 640x480 webcam. The camera comes with 4 rolls of thermal paper (one pre-installed in the camera, the other three in the box), as well as a neck lanyard. The thermal (receipt paper) rolls are generic, and replacements can be easily purchased online.
