Each pack weighted in at 5 grams on my kitchen scale. The packaging lists two ways to "recharge" them (drive out the moisture) and I tested both. 3 minutes in a microwave at half power left a packet very hot to the touch and all of the indicators had turned orange again. Neither the plastic widow nor the rest of the mesh packet had melted or developed any black hot spots, so it held up to the microwave just fine. 1 hour in a 250 degree oven also worked equally well, turning all of the indicating beads orange without damaging the packets, so you can certainly re-use these packs if you want. I put two packs in a plastic container with a hydrometer and they got the relative humidity down to 5.2% within 30 minutes. I left them for over a week and the humidity slowly started to go up, but was still at 10% RH when I opened the container a week later.
