Amazon Affiliate Link: https://amzn.to/45g9zCm Price as reviewed $40 Alstar Telescope Eyepiece & Filter Accessory Case Fits 1.25 Inch Telescope Eyepiece Kit, Barlow Lens, Diagonal Mirror and Telescope Filters, Aluminium Storage Carrying Case Secure Accessories Safely From the Alstar Store This case is massively overpriced for the quality you receive. It is a case. It does have foam inserts suitable for 3x 1.25" eyepieces (a short, medium and longer length one) as well as a slot you could use to hold boxed filters or a 90 degree diagonal. However, everything about the case is manufactured as inexpensively as possible. The foam and the aluminum extrusions that make up the edges are the best features. The corners are chromed plastic, as is the handle. The "lock" is just a keyed screwdriver opening. The side walls are especially flimsy, made up of a super thin stamped aluminum sheet backed by what looks to be hardboard. It is assembled with rivets, but they are of such a low quality iron that they had already started to discolor with oxidation out of the box. It functions as a case, but the only eyepieces I would trust in it are those you get included with a $150 starter telescope. And for that, you should be paying $10-15 for a case, not the 4x more expensive MSRP this guy comes with.
