I tested all of the indoor Meshtastic Antennas I had with my NanoVNA for Standing Wave Ratio and then tried out the best three in an outdoor 1 mile signal quality test. The MuziWorks 915 (US/AU) was the best of the small "whip" units for handhelds. [SWR 1.14 at 906Mhz ] I only tested one "outdoor" antenna, the slinkdsco, which was the lest expensive and reasonably rated option I could find that included a mounting bracket and coax cable. [I was pleasantly surprised at the SWR of 1.15 @ 906 Mhz, and it definitely improved my signal quality over the smaller MuziWorks.] So these are my current recommendations for price/performance in the Meshtastic 915Mhz market. Note: "915Mhz" antennas are also used for Helium (HNT) mining in the same 902-928 Mhz band, although the "sweetspot" for Heilium miners may not be exactly 906Mhz as used by Meshtastic LongFast. So these antennas will probably work well for HNT miners as well as meshtastic nodes, but I was specifically testing at 906 Mhz.
