Hi friends, it’s me Stace. In this video I’m doing a quick, updated double wide mobile home tour—super short and just room by room—showing what we’ve already changed and what upgrades we still have planned. I start right at the doorway in the family room where hubby added shiplap to break up the wall, plus a picture shelf and an electric fireplace. You’ll also meet our two little parakeets, Lemon (female) and Blueberry (male), because they were definitely saying hello. From there I share what’s next on our list: extending the flooring all the way through the main areas to get rid of the carpeting, painting, and updating the master bedroom and bath. The master bath will likely be gutted—we’ve got a 60-inch shower now, but we want to take out the back wall and do a claw foot tub with a shower. I also show the laundry room updates (paint, flooring, shiplap, shelves, and hubby’s built-in laundry basket shelf system) and talk about our kitchen remodel from a couple years ago where we went from dark to bright with white cabinets and lighter finishes. I wrap up with the dining room, den, my two craft rooms, and the guest bath plans so you can see how the whole space works for just the two of us.
