Hi friends, it’s me Stace. In this video I’m sharing a super simple card that looks so impressive: my Triple Time Stenciling Card. It’s the same idea as triple time stamping, but we’re using a stencil instead—so you get that cool continuous pattern across all the layers. I walk you through the exact cardstock cuts, how I stack and tack the layers down (you only need a little adhesive just to hold it in place), and how I ink blend right over the whole “stack” so it looks like we made our own pattern paper. I’m using the Diamond Crafts “Abstract Nature” stencil and three Papertrey Ink colors (Mint Julep, Melon Berry, and Bright Buttercup). I show you my little trick of twisting the sponge dauber as you press into the stencil, and I also talk about budget-friendly options—if you don’t have a stencil or daubers, you can absolutely use ink pads and even a cut-up kitchen sponge. To finish it off, I add a stamped sentiment (“You are a beloved friend in all seasons”), pop it up with foam squares, bring a stenciled strip to the inside of the card, and add a tiny rhinestone cluster for sparkle.
