Hi friends, it’s me, Stace! In this video I’m sharing a really cute and very easy “somewhat” fun fold card—an easy bottom flap fancy fold that looks super impressive when you open it. I walk you through all the measurements (card base, the bottom flap piece, inside panels, and the pattern paper layers) and show you how to put it together step-by-step so it lines up nice and straight. This is one of those cards you can make with scrap cardstock and a couple of pattern paper pieces, and it comes together fast. I also show a simple way to add texture by running the front panel through an embossing folder (I used a dot folder) and then lightly inking over the raised dots with a sponge dauber so the detail pops. For adhesive, I’m using my Art Glitter Glue—especially on embossed cardstock—because liquid glue helps it grab down into those little areas better. I finish it off with a little yarn bow (you can use twine too), pop the sentiment up with foam squares, and share an optional idea: you can turn one of the inside panels into a quick gift card pocket.
