Hi friends, it’s me Stace! In this video I’m sharing a super easy fun fold card—this one is called a Joy Fold Card. I love this style because it looks fancy when it’s sitting up, but it’s honestly quick to put together. I walk you through the exact cardstock sizes, where to score, and how the inside piece gets adhered to create that “joy fold” look with a nice spot for your greeting. I also show you how I decorated mine for fall using patterned paper mats and simple stamping. I used my mini MISTI with Versafine black ink for a big pumpkin image (and yes… my paper shifted a bit, but I actually liked the offset—sometimes mistakes work out for the better!). For the inside I stamped a little leaf in a green ink to match my cardstock, leaving plenty of room to write. I also share my thoughts on sentiments—I don’t always think you need one on the front, especially when the image is large. And if you’re a messy crafter like me, I’ll show you how I fix little ink smudges and add a bit of twine for that extra something.
