Happy Halloween, my Sewing Sisters! In this video I’m sharing two of my favorite fall things: a glam costume sew and some seriously cute machine embroidery gifts. First up, I show you the costume I made using Vogue V9292 (thank you to my Sewing Sister Auset for gifting me that pattern!) along with Simplicity S8513. V9292 gives you that close-fitting, princess-seamed dress with a back zipper and a snap-in dickey, and I hacked in the bell sleeve from the bodysuit pattern to get the exact vibe I wanted for my look. Then we jump into fall décor gifting with Free Standing Lace pumpkins from OESD—perfect if you love making pretty little seasonal pieces that look like you spent a lot of time (because… we kind of do).
